Aimex, one of the world’s premier mining exhibitions, returns to the Sydney Showground from 29-31 August after a successful event back in 2015.
Organisers say the biennial Aimex event is the place to see all the latest technological advancements and innovations in mining, with around 300 exhibitors displaying everything from underground and above ground mining equipment, attachments, conveyors and screeners to fleet management software, business services and safety gear.
The expo will also have a live demonstration area where customers can see new equipment in action and find out how it works directly from the manufacturers.
There will also be a series of keynote speakers at the event, covering the three broad themes of underground mining, surface mining and mining innovation.
Under those themes a range of topics will be covered including longwall mining, mass mining, caving technology, bulk handling, ventilation, pit design, geotechnical issues, automation and the political outlook for the mining industry.
There will also be an industry networking event held on the exhibition floor that is free to attend for all visitors and exhibitors.
Entry to the event is free for mining industry personnel via registration and the expo hall is open from 10am-5pm across the three days.
