Komatsu Australia employees have donated more than 200 gifts to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal
Komatsu Australia staff packed a WA470 wheel loader with a 3.8 -4.7 cubic metre bucket full of Christmas gifts for children aged 0-18 years as part of the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
The staff collected over 200 gifts for children in need including families in shelters, who otherwise would not have a joyous Christmas.
This is the third year Komatsu have supported the Salvation Army Appeal at Christmas. Over these three years, over 600 gifts have been donated by Komatsu staff for The Salvation Army Appeal.
“Komatsu is pleased to donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal again for the third year,” Komatsu head of people and strategy Colin Shaw says.
“This initiative supports Komatsu’s family values and community spirit at a festive time of the year”.
