CJD Equipment secured their place in the final of Volvo’s skills competition
CJD Equipment has beaten off intense competition to move through to the final of the Volvo CE Masters 2026 World Final.
The team claimed victory at the Volvo CE Masters 2026 Region International Final in Casablanca, Morocco along with Estonia’s ETS Ltd, and both will be competing in the World Final this September in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
The competition pitches teams from across Volvo CE’s International dealer network against each other in an event designed to test technical competence and teamwork.
After progressing through three online qualification rounds focused on Volvo knowledge and technical capability, seven top-performing teams advanced to the Regional Final in Casablanca.
The in-person final challenged participants across five competition stations featuring practical and theoretical tasks, including machine diagnostics, troubleshooting, product knowledge and teamwork under pressure.
“We are incredibly happy to be one of the teams qualified for the World Final,” CJD Equipment training and safety manager Alvin Roger DuPont says.
“Masters is a fantastic opportunity for technicians to showcase their skills and expertise. It’s also a great occasion to meet the Volvo family from around the world and challenge ourselves professionally. We all want to understand our strengths and continue improving, because it helps us develop further and strengthen the areas where we can become even better.”
The previous World Final in 2024 was won by Team Funky Mechanics from KSS Korea, who defeated SMT Netherlands.
In 2026, close to 3,000 individuals participated in the competition. The World Final takes place in September 2026 at the Volvo CE Customer Center in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
