Bergmann has released a new four wheel drive electric transport truck for construction sites
German dumper manufacturer Bergmann Maschinenbau has unveiled its latest electric offering – the 804e transporter.
The battery management system is the centrepiece of the electric vehicle line in addition to Bergmann’s modularly manufactured lithium iron phosphate battery units with a total capacity of 24kWh.
The batteries can be charged via a standard domestic socket outlet or alternatively via quick charging stations or three-phase industrial power.
The C804e model is initially being offered as a bulk and general cargo transporter with a tipper, or with a three-sided tipping bed for the construction industry.
Under the designation M804e, the same vehicle base also offers a powerful alternative for municipal use as an attachment carrier.
Bergman offers numerous attachments for irrigation, cleaning, landscaping or road clearance work, and the M804e can be flexibly used for urban building yards or service providers.
Bergmann says the 804e’s standout feature is its carrying capacity, being able to transport up to 3.5 tons (3.2 tonnes) per load.
Thanks to its compact dimensions, with a total height of less than two metres, the C804e construction vehicle particularly comes into its own on building densification, renovation, or conversion construction sites.
