“As a Collie company we are very proud to be transforming our own future here in Collie,” Cardinal Contractors Jon Andel says.
“There are many opportunities, and we have all the expertise, equipment, experience and energy to make it happen by local people, for local people.
“We are proud of our strong reputation as a values-based local company and employer. Synergy’s decision to partner locally affirms that we have the professional, experienced people and a formidable fleet of quality plant and equipment to take on large and critical projects. We are ready and raring to go on the transformation of Collie.”
Andel says Cardinal Contractors is a proud local employer with a diverse and inclusive workforce and a long-term investment in apprenticeships and Indigenous training opportunities on its projects across regional WA.
Once complete the CBESS will provide grid stability and support renewable energy sources by storing wind and solar energy generated during the day and deliver it back to the system during high-demand periods.
