Case brings in heavyweight compact track loader

Case Construction Equipment has launched the TV620B, which it claims is the biggest and most powerful compact track loader it has ever manufactured

The TV620B is built to simplify heavy work

The TV620B was shown for the first time at the Utility Expo in the United States in late September but the 7.3-tonne track loader is not expected to make its way to Australia for almost another year.

Offering an operating capacity above 2,800kg and breakout force from the bucket and lift well above 5,000kg, Case is aiming this track loader at users completing the biggest jobs.

“We’re going for more than size and power — this new product launch represents a total package that puts more control into the hands of the operator, more power and precision in attachment use, and more insight and collaboration into fleet management,” says Case product manager George MacIntyre.

“The TV620B is built to simplify heavy work such as cold planing, mulching, heavy material handling, and loading high-sided trucks.”

The TV620B has a 114 horsepower (85kW) engine and produces 460Nm of torque at 1,400rpm.

It comes with plenty of handy features as standard, including standard adjustable electro-hydraulic controls, high-flow hydraulics, auto ride control, one-way self-levelling, hydraulic coupler, auto-reversing fan and LED lights.

There is also a one-year subscription to Case’s SiteWatch telematics data system included.

Case highlights its hydraulic setup, including an ‘hydraulic on demand’ feature exclusive to the TV620B.

This allows the operator to use the track loader’s multi-function display to select the percentage of auxiliary hydraulic flow to an attachment, depending on preference or attachment manufacturer’s recommendation.

“We are giving the operator more precise and intuitive control than they’ve ever had in a Case CTL and making the machine as simple to operate for as broad a range of applications as possible,” says MacIntyre.

Another feature is a heavy-duty 0.95 cubic metre bucket that Case describes as an industry-exclusive, a dump height of 2.77m when using the heavy-duty bucket and dump reach of 99cm at maximum height.
