Case launches new 20-tonne excavator

Case Construction Equipment has added a second 20-tonne class crawler excavator to its E-Series line-up

Case Construction Equipment has launched its new 20-tonne CX210E-S ‘Essential’ crawler excavator in Europe.

The new E-S model comes in approximately 500kg heavier than the standard CX210E model due to the heavy-duty build of its front-end equipment, lower structure and undercarriage.

By selecting an optional counterweight to better manage heavier attachments, the E-S model can be boosted by another 500kg.

An identical engine from the standard model is used in the E-S model (FPT NEF6 Stage V diesel) and features the same technology.

The track frames have a single-track guide, and triple grouser steel shoes are available in 600mm heavy-duty, or 700mm widths.

Featured on the new model is a heavy duty monoboom and a single, equally heavy-duty 2.94m dipper arm option.

The E-S model comes factory-fitted with standard quick coupler circuit and high-flow multifunction auxiliary hydraulics, with low-flow circuit also available for enhanced versatility with all kinds of attachments.

Protection and comfort are provided for the operator, with the cab boasting a pneumatic and heated seat, suspended joystick controls, 10-inch display with integrated A/C and five configurable buttons, a Bluetooth radio, an LED light package and a FOPS level two top guard.

The new model will also benefit from all existing services offered by Case, including extended warranty and planned maintenance contracts, regular inspections, fluid analysis, maintenance kit and telematics.

By offering a simplified configuration choice and even more competitive pricing, with no loss of performances, quality or reliability, the CX210E-S provides Case dealers with an ‘Essential’ option for cost-conscious rental and contracting customers, the company says.
