Construction equipment exhibition announces plans to increase live demonstrations following success of 2011 trial.
Construction equipment exhibition CIVENEX will expand its
demonstration area in 2013 following the success of the initiative
in 2011.
CIVENEX Manager Frank Sticka says visitors to the 2011 show
appreciated the opportunity to see experienced operators putting a
range of machinery to the test on a specially constructed,
challenging demonstration area.
“So popular was this feature at CIVENEX, we’re adding more demo
areas to allow more exhibitors to present their innovations for
2013. This will make it more convenient for visitors to review
‘live’ the latest equipment for all types of construction site
challenges,” he says.
“Visitors have told us this is what they come to see, therefore,
bringing demonstrations closer to the exhibits will be helpful for
both visitors and exhibitors.”
Sticka says CIVENEX is more than just earthmoving equipment and
agricultural implements.
Visitors see the latest in everything associated with civil
works, infrastructure and open space management. The expo is
recognised as a total supply and services environment and is a
must-attend for anyone involved in building and maintaining our
public and private infrastructure.
“It’s the largest expo of its type in the southern hemisphere.
The show attracts a large number of private sector contractors as
well as engineers and plant operators from federal and state
government departments,” he says.
“Each year innovative solutions are presented that help
contractors and engineers adopt more efficient and cost-saving
approaches to construction, remediation and maintenance tasks
works.”
CIVENEX will be held at the Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek on May
16-17, 2013. Entry and parking is free.
