CNH unveils genuine parts packaging and anti-counterfeit measures

CNH Industrial has introduced new packaging for its genuine parts and anti-counterfeit labels

Case, New Holland and Iveco parent company CNH Industrial has introduced a range of anti-counterfeit measures, including new packaging and labelling for its genuine parts, in a move it says will protect customers.

The new packaging and labelling for its genuine parts will now feature the new CNH logo, and promotes the use of environmentally friendly, reusable and recyclable materials, and limited use of plastics, according to the company.

In addition, chipboard has been replaced with compact cardboard, which provides better protection for the genuine parts during transport.

CNH is also introducing anti-counterfeiting measures, such as progressive numbering and encryption of genuine parts labels.

This enables dealers to easily identify counterfeit parts by scanning the labels with the CNH Genuine Parts Scanner App on their mobile devices, now available from the Google Play and Apple app stores.

CNH says this technology will protect customers from unwittingly purchasing counterfeit parts.
