Two crane companies have formed a joint venture with the aim of giving clients a broader range of products.

Aimed at the Western Australian market, the joint venture brings together Cranecorp, which has operated within that state for nearly 25 years, and Tutt Bryant, an Australian-founded and Singapore-owned company with nearly 30 branches across Australia, including five in WA.

The two companies have operated with different types and sizes of cranes and the intention is now to provide customers with a broader range of options from the one point.

Other benefits of the joint venture, Cranecorp-Tutt Bryant says, will include a wider geographical reach and “a broad range of services, equipment and innovative solutions not currently available from any other single provider”.

Cranecorp-Tutt Bryant’s combined fleet will include crawler cranes of up to 1,600 tonnes capacity and mobile cranes of up to 500 tonnes capacity, which will soon increase to 650 tonnes.

The merged company also has specialised transport including self-propelled transporters, self-propelled modular transporters and alternative lift and shift plus general equipment such as lighting, power and traffic management.

“Through the Cranecorp Tutt Bryant joint venture, customers can be assured of a seamless experience with a single point of contact, common set of documentation and processes, extensive service support capabilities, and a 200-strong internal pool of labour,” the company says.
