Shrink Hood Applicator, Brand: Lachenmeier, Model: KL Type CH
Unit is a high-speed pallet shrink hooding machine. Shrink hood is one of the most economical and flexible packaging methods to keep loads safe and secure. In addition to securing the loads on the pallet, shrink hood keeps dirt & water out.
Shrink hood provides a cost reduction of approx 30% compared to traditional stretch wrapping methods where multiple layers of film are required.
Advantages of shrink hood wrapping over shrink wrapping and stretch wrapping:
Lower film consumption.
Smooth and visually optimal load ensuring an excellent product display.
Waterproof & dustproof.
Packaging well suited for outdoor storage.
Low energy consumption minimising the environmental impact.
The machine is designed to wrap one or more pallet sizes with minor variations in size. The height of each load is automatically measured.
These machines are in new condition as they were purchased to secure heavy magnesium ingots onto pallets. This project was cancelled and the machines were never commissioned. They are currently stored in 40-foot shipping containers.
