Video: Digga Bigfoot trencher

As Ron Horner said in his recent review, the Digga Bigfoot chain trencher attachment is a great Aussie innovation, but it’s only when you see it in action, as in this video, that you really appreciate its abilities.

Ron’s owned and operated some huge trenchers — such as the Trencor 1260 hydraulic drive chain trencher and the Cleveland 400W and 350 bucket wheel trenchers — in his time, but this test on Queensland’s Gold Coast was the first time he’d had his hands on an excavator/loader attachment like this.

“It definitely has its benefits,” Ron says. “This is ideal for those small backyard jobs.”

The Digga Bigfoot trencher’s production levels are excellent for a machine of this size, Ron says in his full review, and the company should be proud of this all-Australian machine made in its 12,500 square metre facility at Yatala, halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

“From one Aussie digger to another,” he says, “I take me hat off to you.”
