Embrey Attachments now offering Dimet lifting electromagnets

The Dimet range of lifting electromagnets has been designed for heavy duty scrap metal sites and recycling

Attachments specialist Embrey Attachments has announced that it is now offering the SM series of Dimet lifting electromagnets for scrap handlers.

The SM series of lifting magnets are designed for handling metal scrap, chips and grey cast iron bars. This series is designed to be used on virtually all mobile scrap handling machines.

The German-built SM range runs from the EMG 85 SM, which can lift six-tonne slabs, up to the largest EMG 200 SM, which can lift 37.5-tonne slabs, with a total of 10 different models in the series.

Key features include a rugged case with cooling ribs for improved protection and reduction of overheating, a special coil design for a greater gripping force, high quality insulation to protect the electrical circuits for a longer service life, a rugged steel bottom plate, a reinforced junction box and a 75 per cent duty cycle.

Embrey Attachments is also the Australian distributor of MultaVex Vibra screening buckets, which can be used to sort and handle a wide variety of materials from large rocks and concrete to gravel, sand, wood and iron.
