Movers and shakers from the global mining industry, including CEOs from major companies and senior government ministers, will be descending on Melbourne in September for the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC).
The event will encompass all aspects of the industry, such as discovery and exploration, investment, mining technology services, mining policy and regulation, mine management, sustainable development, exploration and skills development.
A key feature of IMARC is the Mining Ministerial Summit, which is an opportunity for government representatives to network with their international counterparts and to develop joint initiatives and partnerships.
The exhibition floor has four sectors: Australian and International Mining companies; International Country Pavilions; Investment Zone; and Technical Zone. Confirmed exhibitors range from KPMG and CSIRO to the Victorian Government and the Minerals Council of Australia (MCA).
