The dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday August 20, which is the first day of AIMEX 2013.

The speakers scheduled to present at the dinner come from different sections of the mining industry including mining and exploration companies; the mining equipment, technology snd services (METS) sector; mining equipment and services suppliers and key federal government agencies.

The guest speakers include geologist and Gina Reinhart’s Roy Hill Holdings board member Professor Ian Plimer; Australian mining technology export group Austmine chairman Alan Broome; GE Global Mining and Transportation Australia and New Zealand CEO Geoff Knox; and GVK Hancock Coal Managing Director and Queensland Resources Council board member Paul Mulder.

All four presenters will participate in a panel discussion on the topic: “What needs to be done to keep Australia’s mining industry competitive in the face of changes and growing pressures internationally.”

Booking is essential for this dinner.
