Event: Bauma China 2016
The Bauma series of construction industry trade shows continues with Bauma China taking place from November 22 to 25 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
When Bauma last visited China in 2014, over 3,000 exhibitors and over 190,000 trade visitors attended the event and organisers are hoping for similar numbers when the event returns to Shanghai.
Bauma China is touted as ‘Asia’s largest and most important event for the construction industry’ and will feature product demonstrations, seminars and social events. The expo will cover more 300,000 square metres at SNIEC.
"Over the 12 years since Bauma China was launched, the amount of exhibition space has increased from 45,000 to 300,000 m², and the numbers of exhibitors and visitors have increased correspondingly," Bauma event organiser MMI Shanghai CEO Xu Jia says.
"Bauma China developed its exhibition categories to fit the local market, strengthened its cooperation with local and international associations and the media, and implemented social media and digital marketing to promote the show, all of which have ensured continuous increases in the size of the show and service quality."
