CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 will be the biggest yet

CONEXPOCON-AGG

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020, North America’s largest construction trade show, is expanding its footprint for next year’s show to include the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Representing asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities and related industry segments, a tour of the space was recently undertaken for exhibitors and a video created for companies unable to attend.

"The Festival Grounds provides exhibit space and show services that our exhibitors and attendees will be very pleased with," says Dana Wuesthoff, AEM vice president of exhibitions and event services and show director for CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

Wuesthoff explains that the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show planning committees are developing comprehensive plans to ensure connectivity between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Festival Grounds to help attendees and exhibitors easily navigate all areas of the show to most effectively conduct business.

The 2020 show connected campus will include new and expanded transportation, attendee experiences and registration locations. Features will include multi-site drop off locations for shuttles, complimentary monorail passes, golf cart shuttles, and various experiential transportation options.

"It was a very interesting tour that we saw today; a great facility, definitely a unique atmosphere, which I think will lend really well to what CONEXPO is doing these days," says Shane Kroeker of K-Tec Earthmovers Inc.

"We look forward to the next CONEXPO. We’re always looking for solid customer interactions. It is the place to be if you’re in the construction equipment industry, to make those contacts."

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the owner and producer of CONEXPO-CON/AGG, has announced that Mary Erholtz, vice president marketing for Superior Industries, will chair the next show.

Erholtz will lead a cross-section of industry leaders who come together in the show’s management committee to oversee planning of the event.

"[Erholtz] is a proven company leader and industry supporter and we are delighted she has accepted this leadership role; We know she and her committee will ably guide the show’s strategic direction to deliver enhanced customer connections and insights on the latest technologies and best practices," says Sara Truesdale Mooney, show director and vice president strategy & business development, AEM.

"Along with its own growth, CONEXPO-CON/AGG has played such an integral role in the growth of Superior," says Erholtz.

"With the outstanding leadership from AEM and its board of directors, the show’s management committee and its various subcommittees, we are excited about the opportunity to create a world-class experience for the show’s attendees and optimize ROO/ROI for our members and exhibitors."

Erholtz has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, and her family has been in manufacturing and the construction industry since 1917. She joined Superior in 1995, coinciding with the launch of the company’s marketing department, which she grew from one employee to a team of more than a dozen. Today she oversees the department’s strategic direction and aligns international projects with the company’s vision and objectives. She also plays a key role in the company’s product and service development group for crushing, screening, washing, conveying and components.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 will take place March 10–14, 2020 in Las Vegas. For more information, visit: www.conexpoconagg.com
