Komatsu has weighed in as Gold Sponsor and Carl Grundy, the company’s national sales manager utility, is indicating there will be many exciting innovations on display.

Gold Media Sponsor is Bauer Group’s construction and transport magazines and Graham Gardiner, Bauer Trader Media’s general manager – industry says: “As Australia’s leading publisher of multi-platform transport, farming and civil construction industry titles – including Deals on Wheels, Earthmovers & Excavators, Farms & Farm Machinery, Australasian Transport News (ATN) and Owner Driver, Bauer Media is delighted to partner with the nation’s premier earthmoving and civil construction industry event.

“Under the Gold Media Sponsorship, Bauer Media will heavily promote the show via its print and digital platforms.

“It will also have exclusive rights to distribute some 20,000 copies of a special DDT edition of Earthmovers & Excavators magazine to Expo attendees via the official show bags. Complimentary copies of Bauer Media’s other titles will also be available on stand.

“The 2019 show was an outstanding success, with 61,200 decision-makers pouring through the gates and many of the 217 exhibitors reporting best year sales and plenty of follow-up and demo calls for the months ahead.

“Bauer Media looks forward to partnering with Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo to deliver an even more outstanding show in 2020,” Gardiner added.

Supporter Pickles is again staging its massive equipment auction, which has become a firm favourite of the Expo. The auction will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, May 16, 2020 and always draws a huge crowd.

Other sponsors include Norm Engineering, Truck Assist, Yellow Cover Insurance, Just Automotive Recruitment, Hydraulic Steels, Norm Engineering, Hydraulic Steels, Constructionsales.com, Australian Earthmoving Magazine and Earthmoving Equipment Magazine.

BEST STAND

The maturity of the Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo was evident in 2019 as many exhibitors invested in a major effort with very professional design, construction and presentation of their display sites. Many exhibitors have noted this example and will be going all out in 2020 to put their best foot forward.

The popularity of operators’ challenges continues to grow with more people taking the competition seriously by chasing the trophies and big prize money. The Semco Takeuchi excavator challenge will be back,  and if there are any skid steer or other distributors who would like to run a challenge, contact the Expo management now.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

One of the biggest attractions of Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo is its field day atmosphere and 2020 will be no exception with a great line up of food, family entertainment for the kids and all the facilities needed for a great day out.

Visitors can put up their feet for a while and enjoy a cool drink while being entertained by vocalist Georgie K who will be performing every day, and the kids can show off their latest face painting and be amused by the roaming clowns.

For people who want some great advice about landscaping, TV landscaper Jason Hodges is Diesel Dirt & Turf Ambassador 2020 and will be happy to give some tips.

NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES

Exhibitors like Camso decided the Expo is the best place to launch new products. After a great response in 2019, it is considering the launch of its DTS 129 track kit for motorbikes. The company says its track kit is an example of high technology products which focus on high quality tyres, wheels and rubber tracks for industrial, construction and earthmoving equipment.

Many other exhibitors are planning new releases at the 2020 Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo, so there will be plenty of new equipment, attachments, accessories and systems to keep you interested and make your visit profitable.

GOLF DAY

Another one for your calendar is the annual golf day to support charitable organisations, and in 2020 this will be held on Friday, March 20 at the Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club. Stay tuned for hearing more about this event, as it is always a great day and you need to book early to ensure your team gets a place on the tee.

BEST EQUIPMENT

“Visitors are constantly telling us how great it is to be able to come and see such a huge variety of top brands, the latest equipment and being able to interact with manufacturers and suppliers”, says Expo manager Marti Zivkovich.

“The Expo presents a unique opportunity for fleet operators, asset managers, local government equipment management and contractors to speak directly with highly informed specialists.”

Valuable advice is willingly shared by technical and engineering personnel, many of whom are representing equipment manufacturers from overseas factories.

While people certainly look around online for equipment, it’s only at major events such as the Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo we can spend time at close quarters with the machines and even see them demonstrated in the Expo’s demonstration area.
