We spoke to NSW-based Mini Excavator Sales Director Shaun Clayton recently to find out a bit more about the distributorship’s range of Chinese-made XGMA articulated wheel-loaders and excavators.
In this video from the AgQuip field days in Gunnedah, NSW, Clayton takes us through the range they stock from the manufacturer based in Xiamen, south-eastern China.
“Our excavators range goes from 8 tonne to 48 tonne, and our wheel-loaders basically go from 27 horsepower to 300 horsepower,” he says.
“XGMA is a pretty dynamic Chinese manufacturer,” Clayton says, adding that it produces something like 40,000 wheel loaders and 20,000 excavators a year.
“We tested them for a couple of years over here before we started selling them … and they passed the tests with flying colours. They’re very reliable and strong machines.”
