For your viewing entertainment we present a video we stumbled across showing a dozer battle between a Russian ChTZ B14 and an American Cat D7R Series 2.
At first glance the machines in the video, uploaded by Caterpillar fan leonid883, might seem mismatched, but a look at the specs shows that the two earthmovers are fairly similar in weight and grunt — the ChTZ B14 has an operating weight of 24.6 tonnes with 215hp (158kW) behind it, while the Cat D7R2 comes in at 25.3 tonne and 240hp (192kW).
And yes, it’s something we’ve always wanted to try!
