Statewide Civil is a well-established earthworks contractor based in Sydney’s northeastern suburbs and has been in operation since 2002. Under the ownership of Michael Dominello, the company has built a reputation for quality, safe and timely work.

Dominello says the group has achieved success through selecting the right people and the right machines for the job, which has led them to the Case stable of machines.

“Each team member in Statewide Civil is hand-selected for their expertise, dedication and experience in their field,” Dominello says.

“This ensures each client will achieve the desired result from their project in all areas. We understand that quality and consistency of product and service is most important to our clients.

“Therefore we consistently adopt the use of modern technology methods and product improvements. Our company and staff pride themselves on the use of the best available resources, to consistently deliver quality products as well as dedicated service to our clients – that is why we only choose machines from Case Construction,” Dominello continues.

Statewide settled on the Case CX36B mini excavator and says it hasn’t looked back.

“The Case CX36B is tough, reliable and comfortable and provides great visibility, which is really important for our safety focus,” Dominello says.

“We have had the CX36B for a few months now and we’ve been pushing it really hard and have had no problems whatsoever.”

The Case CX36B mini excavator has an operating weight of 3880kg and is powered by a 3 cylinder 17.2kW Tier 4 Final Yanmar 3TNV88F-E diesel.

Inside the ROPS/FOPS three-post canopy is an adjustable air-suspension seat with belt and pilot-operated hand controls and foot pedals. The operators’ display includes a water temperature lamp, low fuel warning lamp, engine oil pressure gauge and an hour meter.

“Best of all, the CX36B has got heated seats,” Dominello says.

“That is fantastic for our productivity – the boys love using it in winter since it is warmer than their own cars.”
