Delivering premium mobile crushing and screening solutions to small to medium operators has been an essential part of Tricon Mining Equipment’s business model for well over a decade. Quarries, mines and contractors have been crushing and screening along the east Australian seaboard efficiently and effectively with top European brands like Terex Evoquip and Anaconda.

Recently, the team at Tricon Mining Equipment noticed that operators were looking for larger capacity machines that could handle heavy-duty aggregates and large-scale projects.

"We noticed the demand for larger-capacity equipment and also discerned that not a great deal of manufactures or distributors on the east coast of Australia were offering this," says Michael Tripolone, Tricon Mining Equipment’s managing director.

Lippmann-Milwaukee, established in 1923, came under Tricon Mining Equipment’s distribution late last year, and the North American company’s range of mobile crushers and screeners fill this gap. Lippmann-Milwaukee is synonymous with heavy-duty crushers that are not only powerful, but they’re also built to last. Lippmann makes some of the most heavy-duty and reliable machines on the market, along with its expanded line of proven aggregate processing equipment designed to increase productivity and reduce costs.

With a 1,270mm x 735mm single toggle jaw, the Lippmann-Milwaukee LJ 2950 Jaw Crusher is an example of the range’s class-leading capabilities. The impressive crusher boasts to having the widest jaw in its class, as well as class-leading throughput and capacity and the largest stockpile height in its category.

The Lippmann-Milwaukee brand is synonymous with quality and strength.

"These machines are built to last and it is one of the main reasons Tricon Mining Equipment was keen to engage with Lippmann-Milwaukee," says Tripolone. The crushers and screens are suited to projects with a long-term view.

"Operators working on large-scale, long-term projects need equipment that can withstand tough applications and rough environments. These machines could be working for you for over 30 years."

Tricon Mining Equipment’s first order of the Lippmann-Milwaukee LJ2950 Jaw Crusher was sold before the first shipment had arrived in the country.

"There’s a buzz around the brand and what the equipment is capable of doing, so we’re not surprised that demand and interest has been high from the very beginning."

The class-leading jaw crusher is set to be delivered to a busy Victorian quarry.

"The crusher is ideal for insert, primary and recycling applications, and will prove efficient and effective in these environments," says Tripolone.

Maximum productivity is delivered through the enhancements to the jaw box, including heavier flywheels and optimisation for tough applications. The crusher’s jaw speed leads to better reduction and material being processed faster through the crushing chamber.

Due to its focus on quality components, durability and reliability, the LC44 Cone Crusher is another Lippmann-Milwaukee heavy-duty mobile machine that has gained interest before landing on Australian shores. Slightly smaller in size when compared to the LJ2950, it still lives up to the Lippmann reputation of performance and durability. The cone crusher provides a high degree of control over the final product, making it the ideal portable secondary crusher.
