Tilly’s Crawler Parts offers extensive online stock

Tilly’s Crawler Parts is taking its impressive range online with a brand new purchasing platform – continuing its commitment to innovation.

Tilly’s customers will now be able to order their parts online at any time. The new online platform has involved cataloguing more than 30,000 parts

With over 40,000 part lines in stock, Tilly’s undertaking to provide an online sales platform for its  customers across Australia was never going to be a small project.

The commitment of the team to constantly innovate and provide the very best in customer service will see this exciting and ambitious offering come to fruition in October 2021.

The Tilly’s Crawler Parts story began in 1924 and continues now with the third generation of the Tilly family, becoming renowned as an Australian family-owned company with global reach.

From its 20-acre (8.1ha) premises in Toowoomba, south east Queensland, Tilly’s ships quality parts across the country and around the world.

Tilly’s long-standing mantra of ‘Right part, right price, right now’ will never be more relevant than it is now, with the capacity for customers to place an order at any time of the day or night and know that it will be processed on the next business day.

Understanding that machinery downtime means loss of income for its customers is key in the constant development of the supply chain and distribution process.

Tilly’s says it is developing a new website that will be an upgrade on the original, which required customers to call to purchase machinery parts and attachments during business hours.

The new version will include an online platform for purchasing, as well as a place where they can access their account and make payments securely.

Now, customers can log on and purchase their goods at any time for Tilly’s to then attribute a freight quote and despatch to anywhere in Australia, New Zealand or beyond.

Tilly’s general manager Lance Hinrichsen says the company is refining its ability to deliver on its brand promise year on year as it works to improve its service offering.

“This year that improvement will see the implementation of new software, which will improve efficiency and productivity across the entire company. This is a substantial investment in Australian-developed ERP software and one which Tilly’s believes will have multiple benefits for the future,” he says.

“Obviously we live in a world where online purchasing is what people do, so the intention is to ensure we put ourselves in the best possible position to make that happen.

“So, essentially, what we are intending with this is to take away the geographic restrictions which exist and introduce Tilly’s to new customers. We’d love to see an increase in awareness in the Sydney area where we see a lot of potential.”

The development of the online platform has included the monumental task of photographing and cataloguing of more than 30,000 parts by the Tilly’s team to date. The initial roll-out includes a selection from Tilly’s quality alternative undercarriage range, from track groups to idlers, rollers, sprockets and track adjusters suitable for dozers up to D9 and excavators up to 30 tonnes.

This new iteration of the well-known and respected Tilly’s brand makes Tilly’s your number one choice for earthmoving parts and equipment.
