Screenmasters Australia to distribute Belgian wear parts

Screening and crushing equipment dealer Screenmasters Australia has signed an exclusive agreement with Belgian company Magotteaux to distribute its wear parts in the Australasia region.

The company says it has used Magotteaux wear parts in its
compactors for more than eight years and has experienced “immense”
cost savings.

Screenmasters Australia’s Sales Director Mick Lagan says the
Magotteaux blow bars have increased the wear ratios on blue metal
applications by ten times (200,000 tonnes with a set of Magotteaux
blow bars compared to 18,000 tonnes for one set of normal blow
bars)

“These blow bars have allowed us to place impactors into jobs
that were previously thought to be too high wearing, such as river
gravel, sandstone etc,” he says.

“On a lot of these jobs the blow bars are the difference
between turning a profit and making a loss, that is how significant
they are.”

Screenmasters Australia currently supply Magotteaux wear parts
to Sandvik, Finlay and Pegson Impactors, among others.

It can now supply these blow bars ex stock for all the major OEM
built impactors around Australia and New Zealand.
