Kobelco Australia takes on new identity
Leading construction machinery brand Kobelco has announced its new name--Kobelco Construction Machinery Australia (KMCA) following the termination of the global alliance between Kobelco and CNH earlier this year.
Under the alliance which was formed in 2002, the company was known as Kobelco CNH.
The new name, which became effective from April 2, was revealed at the Kobelco Dealer Conference held in Auckland on March 21 for the company's dealer network across Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.
Kobelco General Manager Doug McQuinn says the new company will focus on the Kobelco excavator brand without distraction.
"Being wholly owned by Kobelco Construction Machinery Japan, we receive fantastic support from our new factory in Hiroshima and from KCMJ management," he says.
"We will focus on offering our customers Kobelco excavators which are renowned for their fuel efficiency and performance, and a high level of after-sales service and parts support through our Dealer network so that Kobelco owners maximise productivity and avoid downtime."
