Correction: ASV Sales & Service

In a recent article titled ‘Event: Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo Part 1’, we reported that Porter Equipment had “recently acquired the exclusive distribution and servicing rights to ASV loaders.” This is incorrect.

Newcastle-based CEG Distributions has had the sole national distribution rights for the Terex and ASV lines of posi-track loaders (CTLs) in Australia since 2006 – and recently signed a new 5+5 year distribution agreement with ASV.

Porter Equipment recently signed a dealership agreement with ASV, a part of US-based Manitex, to sell and service the entire ASV range of compact track and skid-steer loaders on a national level across Australia via its company-owned dealerships. Porter Group has similar rights across New Zealand and California.

CEG distributes the ASV and Terex ranges of posi-track loaders through a national dealership network that includes: ASV Sales & Service; Melbourne Tractors; BrisVegas Machinery; Ballarat Tractors; Capital Construction Equipment; Sydney Truck & Machinery; South Coast Truck & Machinery; DLM Machinery; Australian Construction Equipment; and Hockey Machinery Sales.
