SDLG has celebrated its 45th birthday by rolling out a range of special edition equipment from its wheel loader, excavator and motor grader portfolio.
The lineup of new machines includes the L953F, L956F, L958F and L968F wheel loaders; the LG6120E, LG6225E and LG6300E excavators and the G9138 and G9190 motor graders.
“We are very pleased to celebrate 45 years in the equipment manufacturing industry and we are pleased to share this occasion with our customers,” SDLG board chairman Wang Zhizhong says.
“Our achievements in the past few decades are a reflection of our customers’ commitment and support to the company, so we’d like to take this opportunity to mark this milestone with them in mind.”
SDLG began life in the Chinese city of Yimeng in 1972 with the launch of the company’s first wheel loader, the ZL40. Over the following four decades SDLG has expanded its range and global footprint and its products are now sold in almost every country.
Although SDLG’s output today includes all manner of construction equipment, the company says its wheel loaders are by far its best sellers.
SDLG says apart from quality products the company has a commitment to corporate responsibility and became the first equipment company in China to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by 1.48 million tonnes in three years.
Over the next five years, SDLG intends to invest more than 300 million renminbi (around A$58.5 million) in a ‘smart’ manufacturing process with the goal of zero emissions production.
“For 45 years, SDLG has lived up to its promise of offering robust and reliable equipment to our customers,” Wang says. “Their recognition and support are our biggest motivations to pursue technological and manufacturing breakthroughs, and to bring further positive impacts to the industry.”
