The 2020 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo has been tentatively postponed to kick off on Friday, October 16.

“The decisive action taken in recent days by the Australia Government sets out a clear strategy designed to halt the impact of the COVID-19 virus epidemic,” Event Organiser Marti Zivkovich says

“While there are varying estimates of the time it may take to get business lifeback to normal, we are working on the assumption that events will be able to go ahead in six months from now.”

“Based on this view, we have re-set the dates for the 2020 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo as Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18.”

“In the meantime, we will keep you regularly updated. We really appreciate your patience and understanding and assure you we will always act in your best interests in terms of public safety, regulatory compliance and good business.”

Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo joins numerous other major trade events which have been rescheduled until the contagion issues of the COVID-19 virus have been overcome or satisfactorily managed.

The Expo comprises both indoor and outdoor areas and the large crowds that  typically visit during the three days may pose a potential contagion risk.

“While the postponement may cause inconvenience and logistical issues for many of the exhibiters, the postponement reflects the concern for health safety of exhibitors, staff, visitors and the general public.”
