Two track and tyre providers for the earthmoving and agriculture sectors are going to keep moving with their customers, after agreeing to work together.

Big Moose Tyre and Track has joined forces with undercarriage and tracks systems company TuffStuff Australia, under the new badge of TKV Group – led by cousins Matt Evenden and Ash Collins.

Evenden formed Big Moose Tyre and Track in 2015, after eight years in the equipment rental industry, and became a distributor of the Tuff Stuff range of tracks and undercarriage for Toowoomba and the surrounding regions.

The agricultural track and undercarriage side of the business grew considerably, even though the eastern side of the country was in the grip of a crippling drought, eventually becoming the company’s sole focus.

Today, the company is the sole Australian importer of the Endurotrak range of tractor tracks and undercarriage, as well as offering an undercarriage rebuild service for all types of tracked tractors.

Meanwhile, since 2005, Evenden’s cousin Collins had been operating his own company, Tuffstuff Australia, which had grown to a multi-branch national business supplying the construction industry with tracks and undercarriage.

Following a conversation around the barbecue in 2019, Evenden and Collins decided to combine both businesses.

Tuffstuff had a great distribution network nationally with workshop facilities, while Big Moose was helping farmers, many of who also had excavators and dozers to repair.  So TKV Group was formed out of a merger of both companies in January, 2020 – a track and undercarriage specialist with a mission to keep Australia moving.
