Porter Equipment Australia becomes compaction equipment dealer for Ammann in Australia for the territories of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria-Tasmania.
Porter Equipment Australia is now the exclusive Australian distributor; stocking Ammann compaction products at all its sales and service centres nationally – expanding the Ammann service network with the addition of both South and Western Australia.
“The expansion of the distribution agreement to National status provides Ammann with a greater footprint, after sales and service support to our existing customers,” Ammann Group Area Sales Manager – ANZP Nick Oates says.
“It was a natural fit, firstly for the customer and with Porter Equipment’s specialised facilities and dedicated staff in all major states of Australia with the added plus of their loyal regional dealer network”
Porter Equipment Australia will provide both retail and after-sales services for all Ammann light and heavy compaction equipment.
The experienced construction equipment supplier officially began performing as the sole National Ammann distributor on June 1.

Ammann compaction products to be distributed by Porter Equipment Australia include both light equipment, such as rammers and vibratory plate compactors, and heavy machines, including rollers used in soil and asphalt compaction.
