Semco Equipment Sales continues its expansion with the addition of the LiuGong heavy equipment range to its product portfolio.
Semco CEO Satch Santilli says the company has launched its range of LiuGong excavators, wheel loaders and rollers to target its well-established customer base.
“We know it is easier to sell a new range of equipment to an existing happy Semco customer than to find new customers in a market which until now, we have not been operating”, he says.
“Semco has been built on satisfying customers and fully supporting them throughout their ownership cycle. This model of close support and engagement with long-term customers has worked well and is certainly the way we are approaching the release of the LiuGong heavy equipment range.
“Our strategy was always about identifying market niches that would enable us to continue our policy of offering customers the best products for their needs. Considerable time was spent in fully scoping the available machinery to the specifications we need. In doing so, we recognised most of the major brands are now manufacturing their equipment in China.
Santilli says LiuGong was definitely the best choice and the product will be sold and supported under that brand due to its respected engineering reliability and performance.
“LiuGong equipment is of international quality, incorporating some of the world’s best components,” he says.
We are importing all the equipment in a fully optioned configuration to ensure our customers will have the best possible experience when it comes to productivity and machine performance.
“Having LiuGong in our product lineup gives Semco the product range we need to supply to our customers who work on large-scale residential and commercial earthworks projects, infrastructure and other sites where previously we were unable to supply equipment. Our objective was to introduce a range of excavators starting at 15 tonnes, which is a natural extension from where we could previously supply”.
Excavators
The LiuGong E series excavators from Semco are available in 15 to 30 tonnes and Semco is offering models 922E, 915E and 930E. Like all the LiuGong equipment being sold by Semco, this excavator is fully optioned and include Cummins engines, selectable work modes, dual proportional auxiliary circuits, hose burst safety valves, reverse cameras and air suspension seats to name a few.
Wheel Loaders
The initial range of loaders includes models 835H, 848H and 856H. The LiuGong loaders are powered by a Cummins engine and have a single joystick loader control, auxiliary hydraulic circuit, hydraulic quick coupler, reverse camera, air suspension seat, reversible hydraulic fan and an automatic lube system.
Rollers
The first of the LiuGong rollers from Semco is the single drum model 6613. This roller series features Cummins engines, Danfoss pumps and Carraro axles, bolt on padfoot shells, a compaction meter, reversing camera and a large multi-function LCD monitor.
Service and parts support
A comprehensive inventory of spare parts has been established to support the launch and ongoing support of LiuGong in Australia. Fully trained factory service technicians will ensure that customers continue to experience high productivity and impressive machine performance.
