Hydraulink is set to expand its impact in Queensland’s south east, opening up the hose and fittings company’s newest franchise across the state, in Logan City.

The franchise will be directed by Peter Thompson, a licensed engineer with 25 years of precision engineering and rigorous safety practice experience, who is looking to capitalise on the rapid expansion of the Logan city area.

Thompson says the opportunity to join Hydraulink’s ever-growing base – which extends to over 400 service points across Australia and New Zealand – in hope of using his expertise to service the ever growing area.

“The timing of this opportunity to join a go-ahead company like Hydraulink with a high industry profile was very timely for a number of reasons,” he says.

“I am at a good stage of life to invest my energy and strong technical background into determining my own future, growing with the big expansion here.

“Our local area growth needs excellent hydraulic service backing for major industries such as housing and infrastructure development, earthmoving and roads, transport, warehousing and retail distribution, municipal and all the other industries that come with growth,” Thompson says.

The Logan area, situated just south of Brisbane, is set to expand from its current population of 335,000 to around half a million by 2035 and has become a hub for major industrial development across industries such as agriculture, housing, earthmoving, transport and infrastructure development.

Hydraulink fits safe and traceable hydraulic hoses and fittings for industries requiring prompt 24/7 quality services either on-site or off-site, servicing over 400 outlets across Australia.
