Kennards Hire unveils new WA branch

Kennards Hire has expanded in WA with the acquisition of Bertola Hire in Albany

Kennards Hire has expanded its state network footprint to 23 branches with the recent acquisition of Berola Hire in Albany.

The new branch represents Kennards Hire’s entrance in the most southern part of Western Australia and will be servicing the Albany region.

“Albany is a thriving region and we’re looking forward to investing and supporting growth and infrastructure improvements with our extensive equipment offering and great service,” Kennards Hire Western Australia general manager Dave Schurman says.

“We’re also very pleased to have the team members from Bertola Hire to stay on with us. They bring with them local knowledge and understanding of the community. At Kennards Hire, we are very much connected to our family and community values, and to be able to share these values right away is a great way to start here for us in Albany.”

Peter Bertola, former owner of Bertola Hire, adds: “As a business run by our family for generations, we have full confidence that Kennards Hire will effectively carry forward our legacy, dedicated to simplifying our customers’ tasks.”

The new branch is equipped with a full range of general hire equipment along with earthmoving and access equipment such as excavators, compact scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

Selected pieces of Bertola Hire equipment and memorabilia will be sent to Sydney and housed in the Kennards Hire Museum.

The new branch is located at 118 Chester Pass Rd, Lange WA 6330.
