Kubota has added to its range of compact track loaders by introducing the SVL97-2, which will have the highest horsepower of the brand’s options.
The SVL97-2 replaces the existing SVL95-2 and the company says “quality and function” are the major improvements made, while keeping the best features of its previous model based on customer feedback.
“An update to the sealing increases the cabin pressure and eliminates the risk of water and dust ingression,” Kubota’s assistant product manager Nathan Thomas says.
“The addition of grommets on the cabin floor further increases cabin pressure, ensuring a cleaner cabin environment and better air conditioning”.
“DEF tank capacity has decreased in size from 18.5 litres to 12 litres in volume to improve longevity and minimise DEF deterioration, while the redesigned lockable DEF fuel cover eliminates the risk of accidental diesel fill ups,” Thomas says.
“Modifications to the brackets and the repositioning of the clamps on the DEF harness improves durability by reducing possible friction and vibration damage ensuring longevity.”
The SVL97-2 will have a Tier 4 Final 96.4hp Kubota engine, slightly higher in horsepower than the SVL95-2 it replaces (96hp) and higher than the other compact track loaders made by Kubota.
