LiuGong has teamed up with its Australian supplier AWD Group to introduce the LiuGong B series skid steer loaders into the Australian market.
Available from AWD is the LiuGong 365B, 375B and 385B skid steers. All three are at the smaller end of loaders, with the 365B weighing in at just under 3 tonnes (2,950kg). The 375B weighs-in at 3,100kg and the 385B 3,550kg.
LiuGong says the B series re-design places a particular emphasis on weight distribution and stability, in the hopes of providing better manoeuvrability and lift control. The machines have a narrow stance, allowing them to fit in confined spaces commonly found on urban construction sites.
The hard corners of the loaders have been rounded, and LiuGong says this not only provides much greater visibility from the cab but can also reduce sound transfer to surrounding areas.
The B series cabs have been expanded to provide greater operator comfort, and all controls have been placed in ergonomic positions allowing the machine to be operated with fingertip control. The cab also has a fully adjustable suspension seat. The cabs are fully ROPS and FOPS certified.
Maintenance on the skid-steers has been streamlined with a wide, swing-open tailgate providing easy access to daily maintenance points. LiuGong says the B series’ design means maintenance will be quicker, as there are no obstructions to maintenance points.
The skid steers are available with plenty of optional extras as well, including high-flow hydraulics, heating and air conditioning, enclosed cab, solid tyres and tire chains. The skid steers use LiuGong’s universal quick-coupling system, allowing easy interchange of industry standard attachments be they LiuGong or otherwise.
