Make your nominations now for the Women in Industry Awards

Nominations for this year’s Women in Industry Awards are closing on April 19. Don’t miss the chance to recognise the outstanding women who are driving change in your industry

Celebrating the success of women across a wide range of industries, from construction and manufacturing to waste management and engineering, the Women in Industry Awards recognise the women who are driving change in the industry.

The deadline for nominations for this year’s awards is rapidly approaching, so if you know an outstanding woman who deserves to be considered for an award, time is running out to make your case.

With the Women in Industry Awards getting bigger every year, 2023 was a sell-out event with more that 360 attendees, 160 nominations received and 62 finalists.

This year the award categories include:

Industry Advocacy Award (sponsored by Komatsu)

Recognising an individual who has helped shape a positive view of their industry and/or helped to create a policy change that benefits those working in the sector.

Excellence in Construction

Recognising an individual who has made a positive contribution to one of the many facets of the construction industry.

Excellence in Mining

Recognising an individual who has made a positive contribution to one of the many facets of the mining industry.

Excellence in Engineering (sponsored by SEW-Eurodrive)

Recognising an individual who has shown leadership in engineering, technological excellence and innovation.

Safety Advocacy Award

Recognising an individual working actively to improve safety for their industry.

Mentor of the Year

Recognising an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to developing female talent within their organisation or wider industry

Rising Star of the Year (sponsored by Atlas Copco)

Recognising an individual who has shown significant promise within their chosen industry or who has reached new goals at the start of their career.

To submit a nomination, visit womeninindustry.com.au/nominations/ by April 19.  All finalists are eligible for the Woman of the Year Award.

Winners will be presented at a gala event at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney on Thursday June 20.
