Screening and crushing machinery supplier McCloskey International is set to expand their showcase at Bauma 2013 to display new features and benefits across all product lines.
Bauma is a leading international trade fair for construction and mining equipment and is set to take place in Munich, Germany on April 15-21 this year.
Two spaces have been reserved at the show for the first time, creating indoor and outdoor venues for customers to come and see what’s on display at the McCloskey booth. The additional space will allow the company to showcase new features and product enhancements to its line of crushers, screeners, trommels and stackers.
McCloskey will be exhibiting six products in a 741-square metre outdoor stand, including two screeners, three crushers and a tracked stacking conveyor.
Screeners to be showcased include the S80 and R105, displaying both the well-established conventional fine material screen ‘S’ range; and the versatile, durable scalping ‘R’ range. Both these models boast the popular transport-friendly 2.5m transport width sales feature over most of their market rivals.
Bogie-ready crushers will also be on display, including the J44 jaw crusher, the C38 Cone as well as the I44R which was introduced last year.
The new bogie-ready feature on all three crushing models means that customers can attach a bogie unit to each machine therefore eliminating the requirement for a trailer.
McCloskey says the unique selling point of this will be that the one same four-axle bogie unit which will also be on display will be suitable for all three models to achieve full TUV road compliance. This means that the customer can purchase the primary jaw and secondary cone and only require one bogie unit which attaches to both machines for legal transport.
Rounding out the equipment on display will be a TS4065. This new improved model has an industry standard size one-metre wide by 20-metre long belt. This unit will also have the head and tail section hydraulic assist folding mechanism to shorten the transport length and also a standard high impact protected feed boot for heavy-duty material applications.
McCloskey’s 110-square metre indoor stand, meanwhile, will act as an information and service area, designated to allow visitors to speak with company representatives and dealers in a relaxed setting.
In addition to its physical expansion, over the past 12 months the company has continued to add new international dealers across all regions to represent the number of new products that have been added to the company’s portfolio. Many of these dealers will be attending Bauma, and visitors will be able to connect with them during the show.
McCloskey claims its business grew 60 percent in 2012, including a 30 percent increase in its workforce and the addition of more than 136,000 square feet to its plants in Canada and Northern Ireland.
McCloskey International designs and manufactures crushers, impactors, trommel screeners, vibrating screeners, feeders, stacking conveyors and picking stations.
