Mecalac has expanded its electric range with its new ES1000 swing loader
Mecalac has its latest electric machine – the seven-tonne eS1000 loader, which is says has reduced cycle times, noise and visual nuisance, maintenance costs and risks of accidents, as well as a lower impact on the environment than previous diesel machines.
The loader, Mecalac’s first 1,000-litre zero-emission loader, has a 75kWh battery that provides eight hours of work on a single charge. With a tipping load of 4.3-tonnes and a variety of bucket sizes, the loader can swing through 180 degrees for greater flexibility.
Mecalac says that three of its electric machines on the same urban site will save an average of 64 tons (58 tonnes) of CO2 in a year compared to the same models fitted with diesel engines, as well as being able to work indoors.
