New dealer network for Simex attachments

Italian hydraulic attachments manufacturer Simex has expanded its presence in the antipodes by establishing a new dealer network and appointing Australian Attachment Solutions (AAS) as its new authorised importer in Australia and New Zealand.

The company’s authorised Australian dealers are Groundtec Equipment in New South Wales, Walkers Hammers in Victoria and Tasmania, QLD Rockbreakers in Queensland and the Northern Territory, Total Rockbreaking Solutions in Western Australia and Renex Equipment in South Australia.

These companies will handle the planers, rotary cutters, crusher buckets, vibrating wheel compactors and wheel excavators made by Simex, which was established in the northern Italian town of San Giovanni in Persiceto in 1991.

“With this nationwide authorised dealer network we can now ensure customers receive the advice, product support and service they would expect from the Simex products,” AAS managing director Lino Scartozzi says.

Speaking from the Simex factory in Italy, sales director Federico Tamburri says the combination of the new dealer network and Scartozzi’s extensive product and industry knowledge will allow Simex to replicate its international success Down Under.

“Since our expansion to international market Simex has achieved an excellence in road maintenance attachments,” he says. “Innovative designs of rotary cutters, asphalt planers and crusher buckets and wheel excavators have made Simex the industry leader in this sector.

“Our commitment to constant improvement and continuous advancement in our field allow our customers to work more efficiently, faster and, most importantly, safer.

“For instance, Simex planers’ patented self-levelling design keeps the milling depth constant in all conditions, resulting in perfect levelling of planed surfaces and guaranteeing minimal material spill outs,” Tamburri says.

“Whether the job is road maintenance, trenching, construction of underground utilities, tunnel excavation, quarrying or profiling our goal is to provide a safe and cost effective Simex solution with the minimal maintenance costs since the requirement is the replacement of the worn part only.”
