Onetrak opens Sydney branch

Onetrak is expanding its reach even further with the opening of a new branch in the south-west Sydney suburb of Moorebank

Located in close reach of the M1 and M7, and just 27km from Sydney CBD, Onetrak’s new Moorebank branch is its eighth Australian facility.

Having been operating for the past couple of years from a holding yard in Kemps Creek on the western outskirts of Sydney, Onetrak NSW regional manager Brad Madden says it was time to set up a dedicated branch for the area.

“We’ve had dedicated sales guys on the ground and have been running the rental side in Sydney for a while, and we got to the point where we needed at least one resident mechanic,” Madden says.

“So, we expanded the team with a couple of mechanics and decided it was time for a proper facility so we can house more parts and expand our servicing capabilities.

“The new branch comes with a decent-sized warehouse that has a good workshop facility and parts stocking ability. We also have the space to house our office staff and plenty of hardstand, plus there’s excellent access with it being close to the M5.”

Moorebank is Onetrak’s second NSW branch after Tumut, with Madden moving across to Sydney to head up the new team. This will include sales reps, parts technicians and mechanics, with plans to expand the team further by the end of the year.

“We will be able to hold more parts to make a quicker turn around for our valued customers along with a large workshop space to better service our customers’ machinery,” Madden says.

“So, we’ll be able to service our customers’ machines in our workshop and have a full collection of parts available. We’ll also continue to operate Onetrak Rental, as well as new machinery sales from the Hidromek, Dressta, Anaconda, Striker, Fuchs and Tigercat lines.

“I personally am excited about the growth we are seeing in Sydney and am excited to be a part of the Sydney journey,” he says.

Onetrak managing director David Hazell says it is important for the company to establish a presence in Sydney as part of its business plan to become “a truly national heavy equipment dealer”.

“With the help of our loyal customers and fantastic brands, Onetrak has grown beyond our original expectations, and it was important we established a full-time presence in Sydney to better support our growing client base and key franchises in this important region,” he says.

“We are extremely fortunate to have some of the most talented and dedicated employees in the industry working for Onetrak and it’s the company’s family feel and commitment to providing exceptional customer service that has allowed us to grow and prosper in what is otherwise a saturated and competitive space.

“We really look forward to growing and expanding the business further in conjunction with our people and providing a level of customer service that is recognised with our Onetrak brand.”

In addition to the new branch, Sydney also saw Onetrak undertake its first NSW Dig Day recently, with machinery demonstrations taking place at Kemps Creek.

“We had quite a few Hidromek machines on display, from rollers and backhoes through to excavators and a grader,” Madden says.

“We also had a TD-15M Dressta dozer, an Anaconda DF518 scalping screen, a Fuchs MHL335 material handling crane and a Tigercat 760B mulcher on display as well.

“It was a good day and there was a lot of interest. A lot of people came down, had a feed, had a chat with the team and checked out the machines, so it was a success.”

The new Onetrak branch is located at 9 Helles Ave, Moorebank. For more information, contact the Sydney branch on 02 8729 8400 or visit
