Position Partners to offer Teleo autonomous control for construction equipment

Position Partners will support customers looking to retrofit heavy equipment with Teleo’s remote-operated and autonomous solutions across Australia

Position Partners has announced that it will offer Teleo autonomous control technology for construction machinery to customers in Australia and New Zealand.

“With ongoing labour and skills shortages in the construction sector, there is more work to be done than there are people to do it,” Position Partners CEO Martin Nix says.

“Automation and remote-control solutions from Teleo will help our customers to increase productivity with one operator capable of operating multiple machines in a safer, more comfortable environment.”

Teleo’s system can be retrofit to any make and model of machine and includes the company’s proprietary software, a remote command centre to operate the equipment and a mesh network to enable two-way communication between the command centre and machines.

The kit incorporates cameras that deliver high-definition visibility and video footage both day and night. Once a machine is retrofitted with Teleo’s technology, a skilled operator can control multiple machines, at multiple sites, from a single station.

“We are delighted to announce our agreement with Position Partners,” Teleo co-founder and CEO Vinay Shet says.

“Their skilled team will ensure the best outcomes for our mutual customers as they deploy Teleo’s cutting-edge supervised autonomy solution.”
