Powerscreen unveils new global headquarters

Terex brand Powerscreen has unveiled a new global headquarters in Dungannon, Northern Ireland

The new headquarters includes an 8,500 square foot (789.7 square metre) office space with a modern wellness centre that Powerscreen says will promote team member wellbeing.

A number of energy saving enhancements are also included at the headquarters, aimed at reducing carbon emissions, it says.

The mobile crushing and screening provider says it is the latest investment by Terex to modernise its operations and bring facilities into the digital age.

“As Powerscreen approaches 60 years of operating, we understand the value of durability and innovation,” Powerscreen general manager and business line director Sean Loughran says.

“Our new headquarters isn’t just bricks and mortar; it’s a testament to our commitment to lasting excellence.”

Terex Dungannon maintenance and facilities manager Peter Doherty says the new headquarters reflect Powerscreen’s position in the global market.

“The main building has been reimagined to create a state-of-the-art office space that reflects Powerscreen’s standing as a global market leader.

“As well as extending the footprint, the traditional cellular office accommodation has been replaced with open plan spaces that have been carefully arranged around modern working arrangements and informal collaboration areas.”

Doherty also says the new building fabric has been upgraded to improve thermal efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

This follows Terex’s policy and targets to implement sustainable practices that minimise environmental impact.
