Hako to launch new cleaning products at CIVENEX

Cleaning solutions business Hako Australia will launch its new range of sweepers and scrubbers at Australia’s annual construction and public works expo, CIVENEX, which returns to Sydney’s Eastern Creek Dragway in May.

Hako says the new machines are ideal for local
government users with their ability to clean in wet or dry
environments, including highly polluted urban areas.

According to Hako, one of the new products- the
Citymaster 1250 city cleaner is tailor-made to meet the high
standard of footpath and street cleanliness required by most
Australian councils.

The company says it is a multi-purpose unit
that’s been designed from the ground up to be an articulated
sweeper, scrubber, mower, mulcher and more.

Hako says that with its extraordinary suction,
power and articulated design, the Citymaster 1250 city cleaner
offers manoeuvrability and performance around footpath obstacles
and in restricted spaces, ensuring thorough cleanliness on cycle
paths, footpaths and roadways.

Hako Australia National Marketing Executive
Pamela Bourne says the Citymaster 1250 city cleaner has a fully
air-conditioned cabin with low internal noise, ergonomically
arranged seating and controls that make the machine very
comfortable for the operator.

“This machine is uniquely suited to vacuuming
litter and scrubbing pavements,” she says.

Hako claims the machine is also highly
versatile, taking only minutes to change from a high-performance
suction sweeper to a large-capacity footpath scrubber. The 1,300mm
scrubbing deck ensures all debris and water is picked up
immediately, leaving the surface dry and ready for pedestrians to
walk on.

“Hako Australia is proud to be exhibiting at CIVENEX 2013.
As with previous CIVENEX shows, this year we will be showcasing all
our latest machines,” Bourne says.

Also on show at Hako’s stand will be the
Hako-Citymaster 2000, a high-end compact sweeper. Built as a proper
utility vehicle with ease of serviceability top of mind, Hako says
the Citymaster 2000 has low fuel consumption and a Euro 5 engine
that has raised the bar and set new standards with regard to
machine durability, reliability and efficiency.

The machine’s two-brush system has a working
width of up to 2.5m and hydraulically-driven disk brushes that can
be individually adjusted for speed, pressure and working width from
the driver’s seat. The three-brush system also available with the
Citymaster 2000 gives it extra flexibility, enabling the machine to
clean under park benches and footsteps.

“The growing trend for daytime cleaning requires
cleaning machines to be operated more and more in full view of
people and their local communities,” Bourne says.

“Using high-quality materials ensures Hako
machines make a positive, lasting impression within the community
and help sustain the environment,” Bourne adds.

“We are looking forward to demonstrating the
quality and functionality of our latest machines at CIVENEX
2013.”
