Wall-mounted OHS chart publisher Pro-Visual Publishing has released the 2013/14 safety guide for Queensland’s construction industry, distributed free of charge to all construction companies in the state.
Following the release of construction safety guides for the states of VIC and WA earlier this year, Pro-Visual Publishing has recently launched the Construction Industry Guide to Site Safety (QLD) for 2013/14.
Pro-Visual says the latest guide was published with aims of increasing awareness among workers of current site safety rules and issues.
Due to the significant risks involved with using plant and machinery in construction projects, Pro-Visual has made mobile plant safety a key feature in this year’s guide.
From the WHS legislation, plant includes any machinery, equipment, appliance, container, implement and tool; and includes any component or anything fitted or connected to any of these items.
The guide was published with support from the Australian Constructors Association and the Australian Construction Industry Forum.
