Tutt Bryant introduces new Yanmar Vio80-1 excavator

Yanmar excavator’s Australian distributor Tutt Bryant Equipment has lifted the lid on the new Vio80-1 which supersedes the existing Yanmar Vio80.

The new Vio80-1 is an upgrade of the current model which features many of the Vio80’s functionalities but with better speed and overall performance due to a new hydraulic pump.

According to Tutt Bryant Equipment, excavating and dump loading speeds have increased 21 per cent compared to the previous model.

To save on fuel and to conserve the environment, Yanmar has installed an ECO mode and auto-deceleration mode switch reducing up to 9 per cent of users’ fuel costs and cutting down on carbon emissions.

The Yanmar Vio80-1 also has increased cabin space through a wider cab and larger leg room to maximise user comfort.

The sturdy ROPS cabin sitting on anti-vibration mounts restricts noise and sound pressure to 72dB(A) and 97dB(A) for a quieter work environment.

Servicing and maintenance of the machine has also been made easier through the installation of a LCD action monitor. The unit monitors all daily maintenance requirements and if serviced correctly will ensure a high level of productivity and prevent breakdowns.

All servicing can be performed at ground level and with new engine cover locks, all maintenance covers can be opened easily without the use of tools.
