The Bretec-branded range of rock breakers features box-type silenced housings that offer increased noise prevention and make them well-suited to urban applications.
The eight models in the range, which cover compact, medium and large sizes, come from a purpose-built and state-of-the-art factory in Finland and are fully CE compliant. All manufacturing is done in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO18001 and ISO 14001 standards
“Bretec is an expanding alternative range of breakers that covers the entire market at very competitive prices and complements the existing Rammer breakers series,” says Wolfgang Reinhard, Sales Manager of dealer Ground Tec Equipment (GTE).
Both Bretec and Rammer hydraulic hammers are supplied by Sandvik Mining and Construction.
The new Bretec breakers feature both vibration and sound suppression, which means that there is less damage to the carrier. A large nitrogen piston gives a high impact energy that increases breaking power and efficiency, while a large tool transfers the breaker’s blow energy deep into the material and extends the tool’s working life.
“Our Bretec customers are very happy with their breakers,” Reinhard says. “The tool’s better productivity and durability is a great selling point, as is the incorporation of a fast change tool system.”
