Narva introduces Eurotech flashing or rotating LED beacons

Narva has brought out two new Eurotech dual-voltage flashing or rotating LED beacons for the commercial and construction industries.

The lights come in two sizes: the low-profile 85254A and the standard-height 85260A, both available with a flange base to allow alternative and synchronised operation of up to four strobe units.

Narva says the beacons are more compact than other models in the market and “provide an affordable solution for high quality light output and durability”.

The new Eurotech beacons can be set to rotate or flash, with the latter mode offering six adjustable flash patterns, and meet the heavy vehicle regulation 2013, No.77, making them suitable for on-road use.

The low-profile model has two additional mounting configurations: a magnetic base featuring a 12/24V cigarette-lighter plug with an on/off switch and pattern selector; and a flexible pipe mounting base with a DIN-style connection.

“With a non-volatile memory, the beacon recalls the last flash pattern used, so there is no need to set up a preferred pattern after it has been turned off each time,” Narva says, adding that “modern optic technology featured in the lamp’s design magnifies the light output, creating a powerful, solid and seamless projection of light that meets the SAE Class 1 rating”.

The LED beacons also feature reverse polarity protection, fully sealed (IP65) solid state circuitry and tough polycarbonate lenses.

Available from automotive and transport outlets around Australia, the Eurotech beacons are priced from $170 plus GST.
