Our recent story on the new JCB 1CXT tracked backhoe loader has been so popular, we thought we’d bring you a video that JCB made to show this versatile earthmover going through its paces.
As we said in the news story, the 600kg loader capacity JCB 1CX is an earthmover that has the manoeuvrability of a skid-steer, the productivity of a mini-excavator and the versatility of a backhoe loader, plus the stability and pushing power of tracks.
The smallest model in JCB’s backhoe loader range, it can turn on its own axis in order to work in cramped environments and it is fitted with a universal skid-steer quickhitch allowing for a full range of skid steer attachments to be fitted easily.
A full servo-controlled hydrostatic transmission gives zero to maximum speed, both in forward and reverse, at full power, JCB says.
It can be operated and driven while facing the loader or the backhoe, so there’s no need to spin the seat back around before the machine can be repositioned.
