The property at 86-312 Batchelor Rd also has a timber clearing permit for its hardwood trees.

Set on 79.51 hecatares (198 acres), it has flat frontage rising to steep ridgelines, is only five minutes away from Woodford township and has "stunning views to the Glasshouse Mountains", according to Ray White senior sales and leasing agent Damien Poole.

 A three-bedroom, two-bathroom timber home with a two-sided wrap-around deck sits on the property. It features a wood heater, a septic tank system and new solar power system and backup generator, and is currently tenanted at a return of $28,600 a year.

Improvements include a 3.5-bay enclosed shed and carport, three dams, two 30,000-litre water tanks and fencing.

On the extractive industry side, the permit from Caboolture Shire Council states that "extraction shall be by excavator and rehabilitation of the site shall be carried out progressively upon completion of the extractive industry. The area of excavation shall be limited to stages of 2 hectares in area". No blasting is allowed.

Woodford is a growing town of about 2,500 residents located 72km north-west of Brisbane and 24km west of Caboolture, and is probably best known for the folk festival which takes place over the New Year holidays.

It has wide streets, a grand old hotel, colonial-style shops and a Woolworths shopping centre, and is surrounded by farm lands producing strawberries, mushrooms, bananas, pineapples and pawpaw, among other crops.

Woodford is located on the D’aguilar Highway, which leads directly to the M1 and is just over an hour’s drive to Brisbane Airport and CBD.
