Tricon says that although the AggStack range has been specifically designed for the aggregates and quarry markets, the mobile telescopic conveyors can be used in a range of applications including grain-handling and forestry work.

Within the quarry, the AggStack telescopic conveyors handle standard applications such as stockpiling, bay loading, linking and reclaiming.

The conveyors are radial and have a 270-degree stockpiling arc. When combined with the high telescopic reach of the conveyors this gives up to 30 percent more stockpile capacity than a fixed length/height conveyor, Telestack says.

The conveyor can also stockpile material in radial windrow, incline windrow and radial conical formations.

The conveyors are highly mobile and can be positioned anywhere on site. The units can also integrate into a fixed plant system, offering further flexibility and a higher quality finished product as degradation, contamination and compaction are reduced.

Apart from radial telescopic conveyors, the AggStack range also includes truck unloaders, hopper feeders and link conveyors that can be added to the conveyors to meet specific requirements.

Tricon says the series combines existing Telestack products into one entry-level package for customers and fills a gap in the aggregates market. Reports indicate the unit has been popular in Europe and Telestack expects similar results in Australia.

As mentioned above, Telestack customers have also used the AggStack range in other applications, particularly in grain-handling applications at storage facilities or farms.

The conveyors can be used in grain-loading applications without any modifications being made to the unit.

They are also suited to stockpiling coal, sand and even woodchips in forestry applications.
